This webinar will focus on the secondary data analysis employing the National Core Indicators-In-Person Survey that explored whether residential setting (e.g. family homes vs. group homes) along with age group (transition vs adults) is associated with IDD service users' psychotropic medication use. The results will focus on the role the family homes may provide in terms of social and support that may yield more positive psychosocial outcomes and how moving from different types of residential settings may cause psychological/behavior issues due to new and challenging routines and relationships.
