AAIDD welcomes you to become a member or renew your annual membership now. Choose from among the benefit packages below that best match your needs. 

Students: AAIDD offers substantial student conference registration discounts but no longer offers student discounts on membership.

AAIDD's Member Types and Benefit Packages Have Changed

What has changed? The benefit packages have been updated, the Classic membership has been retired, and an Academic bundle has been created as a companion to the Corporate bundle. In addition, the the Student Discount on membership has been retired but AAIDD will continue to provide substantial student registration discounts for its annual meeting. Please note that all of AAIDD's journals will become online only in January 2026, and delivery of paper copies of the journals will no longer be a benefit for any member type starting in 2026.

Why were changes made? Member types and benefit packages were modified to reflect that journals will become online only in 2026. An analysis of student membership discount code usage was the basis for retiring the student membership discount; however, AAIDD will continue to offer discounted student conference registration. The motive for adding an academic bundle was to provide a bundle more suited to the needs of members in academic settings.

Only available to those who live outside the US or Canada, members in this category are not eligible to hold office nor vote in AAIDD elections.

Corporate Bundle

Academic Bundle

Ideal for centers, departments, or academic units, seeking cost-effective strategies to support faculty, staff, and student development.

AAIDD does not offer a student membership but supports students through the following:
