CEO (New Hope Community)

Company : New Hope Community
Location : Hudson Valley, New York

Since its founding in 1975, New Hope Community has become a leading Hudson Valley New York provider agency for people with Intellectual and Development Disabilities (I/DD.) New Hope Community, along with its Select Human Services division, supports person-centered lives through the 40-residence residential program, as well as through their day habilitation, supported employment, community habilitation, site-based respite programs, and self-direction supports. New Hope has grown to a $50M enterprise and serves more than 1,000 children and adults, and employs more than 1,000 staff. Under the leadership of the current CEO, New Hope Community has extended its footprint, its branding, its community involvement, and its voice of advocacy. The new CEO will dynamically forward these roles and work alongside the Board in strategically planning for the future.

The new CEO will advance New Hope's capacity to empower people with I/DD through the delivery of person-centered, data-driven, integrated, and comprehensive programs. The CEO will focus on strategic planning, operational effectiveness/efficiency, and will possess strong leadership skills, especially in human resources. The new CEO will expand on existing practices to seamlessly build forward an increasingly collaborative and person-centered environment where all employees can contribute while growing professionally. Areas of special importance will include workforce development, service integration, growth strategies, and overall financial performance. The new leader will continue the evolution of advanced performance measurements and management controls while effectively communicating the vision and impact internally and externally.

This is an exceptional opportunity with a mission-driven, person-focused organization that provides a place where life skills are learned through immersion with the help of support professionals who create environments that make exploration safe and accessible. At New Hope strengths, talents, personal direction, and accomplishments are discovered and individuals are supported in making independent decisions and life choices that speak to their best life. Leaders who bring a minimum of ten years of experience working within a complex, multi-site operation with a clear commitment to assuring quality of life, opportunities, and community engagement for individuals with I/DD are encouraged to apply. Prior experience as a CEO is preferred, but consideration will be given to others who bring a depth of outstanding leadership and Board relations experience. An uncompromising commitment to the mission of New Hope Community is essential for success. The compensation for this CEO is budgeted to be in the $325,000-$400,000 range, commensurate with experience.
