At its June 2018 meeting, the AAIDD Board endorsed a set of competencies (Core Competencies for Health Care Education) developed by the Alliance for Disability in Health Care Education and the Ohio Disability and Health Program designed to integrate disability-related content and experiences into health care education and training programs.
