Membership in AAIDD is required for service on the AAIDD Board of Directors.
Interested individuals are cautioned that those who (a) join immediately prior to their nomination or (b) have not participated in the affairs of the Association will not be seriously considered.
Some examples of participation in the affairs of the Association are: serving on a committee, serving in a leadership role of an Interest Network or Chapter, serving as a reviewer for journal articles or conference abstracts, delivering a webinar or conference presentation, or being published in an AAIDD publication.

Secretary-Treasurer
Term: 3 years
Member-at-large.
Term: 4 years
Individuals may nominate themselves or others.
