How Peer-Mediated Support Improves Aging Caregivers’ Quality of Life

This presentation will describe the outcomes of participating in a statewide peer-mediated family support project to support older (50+) caregivers of adults with I/DD. We will describe the four significant factors (caregiver’s employment status, global family quality of life, caregiver stress, and depression) that were associated with a change in the quality of life of caregivers who participated in this study.
