Gabrielle Herald serves as the Coordinator, Membership and Communications with the AAIDD. She joined the organization in 2022, and is responsible for all things membership, book fulfillment, and outreach communications.
Prior to joining the AAIDD team, Gabrielle dipped her toes in a variety of communication roles including Marketing and Communications Intern with Shriners Children’s Erie, as well as Media Communications and Marketing Intern with CybXSecurity. Alongside these positions, she also served as a Social Media Manager for Northwest Pennsylvania’s one-stop healthcare service provider, MHEDS.
Gabrielle graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Mercyhurst University where she earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Strategic Communication & Integrated Media. When she is not in the city, you can find Gabrielle visiting her family in Grove City, Pennsylvania, her hometown.
