Maysoon Zayid, long-term self-advocate, comedian, writer, actress and tap dancer, will provide her experience and perspectives on how she uses humor to fight against the stereotypes and oppression to revise society's perception on disability. 

Maysoon Zayid is a comedian, actress, writer, tap dancer, and disability advocate. She graduated from Arizona State University as the Guest Comedian in Residence. She is the ambassador for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and is the co-founder/co-executive producer of the New York Arab American Comedy Festival and The Muslim Funny Fest. Alongside her stand-up career that flourished in top New York clubs and abroad, she acted with Adam Sandler in 'You Don't Mess with the Zohan', wrote for VICE, walked the New York Fashion Week, was a full-time contributor to 'Countdown with Keith Olbermann', and appeared on many productions, including ABC News, 60 Minutes, and Oprah Winfrey Network's In Deep Shift. Currently, she is developing a series for ABC called 'If I Cancan'.
