AAIDD to publish a User’s Guide to accompany its latest definition manual

AAIDD will be publishing a User’s Guide to accompany the 11th Edition of its definition manual titled Intellectual Disability: Definition, Classification, and Systems of Supports. The User’s Guide will provide an overview of the main features of the 2010 AAIDD system for professionals in the field, such as clinicians, educators, policy makers, and program managers. Through the Guide’s chapters, professionals will gain a clear understanding of intellectual disability and can thereby improve the success and quality of disability policies and practices.
